M41 Jacket (With 1st Div Patch)
M1 Steel Helmet with 3/4" Mesh net or without.

Garrison Cap with DUI
M1938 Dismounted Leggings
Roughout Boots or service shoes
M1928 Haversack with mess kit and KFS

T-Handle & cover
Belt to suit weapon, with canteen on back right and carlisle pouch on the back left, as per manual.
Personal Weapon

Gas Mask & bag

Dog tags

Wask kit

 

Uniform Standard: Garrison Clean.

 

Personal appearance: Clean shaven.

 

Evening Uniform(clean & crisp):  

 

Class A Jacket(No medals, Unit Citation, Fourragère and Rank insignia only)

Neck Tie 

Polished service boots/Shoes

 

Please take note, to maintain our high standards:

 

No Buckle Boots

No Jump boots

No Modern Tee shirts

No E-cigarettes

Mobile phones and cameras to be used discreetly

All Modern equipment (carrier bags, cool boxes, beer boxes, books, food packaging etc)hidden from sight at all times where possible.

Rations and personal items either wrapped in period packaging or used discreetly

 

Shelter:

 

Unit fly sheet.

Open ender pup tents if you have one.

Pop's please bring unit pup tent for a spare.

Steve, please bring fly your sheet for storage, etc.

 

Unit Field Equipment: Squad cooker, etc

 

Flagpole: Yes & flag

 

Weapons:  Personal weapons with copy of deactivation certificate. 

 

Unit Weapons: 30 cal. Mortar

 

Water:    Available on Site.

 

Toilets:  Available on Site

 

Showers:  None

 

Food:     Friday Night – Hot Dog’s 

          Saturday Breakfast – Cooked breakfast

          Saturday Lunch – Personal Rations

          Saturday Dinner – Pops' special Stew or Meatballs

          Sunday Morning – Cooked breakfast

          Sunday Lunch – Personal Rations

 

Food Cost: £4/person for the weekend, payable at the weekend.

 

All Troops please bring to every event regardless: 

 

Some bread (Not a modern sliced loaf)

1x tin meat or veg for a 2-can

1x tin for sweet (Rice pudding, peaches)

1x tin of Spam, hot dog's or corned beef

Coffee or Tea

Please remove modern labels and /or relabel if possible.

 

Also, needed at every event:

 

Salt & Pepper

Tomato Sauce & Brown Sauce

Milk

Eggs 

Sugar

Cooking oil

Washing up liquid

 

Fire:     No open fires, fire bucket off the ground, discrete. Bring small amounts of fire wood.

 

Rubbish:  Bag rubbish and take home.

 

Alcohol:  Permitted, Personal Ration enough to share

Parking:  

 

Please use the 'White Gate' entrance for exhibitors and not the main public/visitors entrance. There will be signs and marshals to assist you.  As you enter, please have your Vehicle Permit to hand or on display in your windscreen – all vehicles in your group must have a vehicle permit. This should be signed and completed with your vehicle registration. You will be directed to a temporary parking bay where you will be able to leave your vehicle while you book in. At booking in you will receive your wristbands as requested in advance together with other information, you will then be guided by marshals to your designated display pitch and positioned.

 

We are located on pitch A12 & A13.

Health & Saftey:

 

Risk assessment carried out for training activities, no battling, no public involvement. Wear suitable and appropriate footwear and clothing. Inform organiser(M.Spencer) of any medical issues. Wear Sunscreen where needed and keep hydrated.

 

Insurance: Unit PI Insurance cover in place, copy available on request.
