While visitors are onsite between 10:00am and 17:00pm no vehicles will be allowed onsite unless agreed ahead of time for special needs. You will be welcome to use our car park throughout your stay. We can allow access of vehicles once the public are offsite to drop off equipment etc as required. We ask you observe the 5 M.P.H. speed limit onsite and that you show your hazard lights whilst moving about. We also request that once the staff and volunteers have left site for the evening and all of your persons have arrived that you lock the outer carpark gate using the combination padlock for security purposes. The inner gate by Blyth Road Pavilion should be closed and locked.

The code for the combination lock can be obtained from Steve or a Committee member.

• ATTENTION - Due to the extreme heat these past couple of months. The event has asked that we maintain strict discipline when it comes to fire/open flames.

• Another hot weekend forecast. Seek shade and take on plenty of water. Stay alert for the signs of heat exhaustion

• There will be an optional Road Trip Friday PM. The plan is to head out in a convoy of Green vehicles and head to a Chippy.

• Fire arms display authorised. If you want to shoot, please bring a firer. There will be a small amount of .30-06 donated from unit stores. ​​

• If you have a blank firing MP40 and want to fire then please bring. Unfortunately, there will be no 9mm blanks provided.

• If possible, please bring spare boxes or other set dressings to beef out the display.

• Pack a Field Telephone if you have one

Please take note:​

• All members are required to change into Green as soon at they are pitched up. And remain in uniform until endex has been called

• Any deviation form the above uniform code will be questioned by the Unit Commander/NCO/Committee Member on the day. You may be asked to change.

• HBT Uniform may be worn at hot events AFTER the public has left for the evening. Unless otherwise authorised

• Head cover to be worn at all times, either a Garrison Cap, or the M1 Helmet. (When on display a jeep cap should not be worn on it's own. After hours, the jeep cap can be worn as suits you)

• No Bloused Jump boots. If wearing a pair, they must be worn with Leggings or under your trousers.

• No Modern Tee shirts

• No E-cigarettes insight while on display

• No Vaping whilst on display

• No beards. Clean shaven upon arrival, or shave when changing into Green on the first day

• No Modern haircuts

• No visible piercings or Tattoos

• No modern watches

• No modern glasses

• Mobile phones and modern cameras can be used, but discreetly

• All modern equipment (carrier bags, cool boxes, beer boxes, books, food packaging etc) to be hidden from sight at all times where possible

• Rations and personal items are either wrapped in period packaging or used discreetly

• No food/drink in modern packaging is to be consumed within the display area during public hours.

17:00 – Show closes to the public. Evening meal, wash up, clean up

19:00 - Evening R&R and mingle with other groups

12:00 - Return to Camp

• Keep your Green heads on. If given an order by an Officer or NCO, react in the appropriate manner.

• ​​Do not leave the Camp Area without clearing it first with either the Lieutenant, one of the senior NCOs or a Committee Member

• Public display event. Respect the site rules and any reasonable requests given by the Staff.

• Keep the profanities to a minimum or PG 13

There will be a meal deal available with a cost not exceeding £8.00 per person.​

• Bacon Sandwiches for Breakfast Saturday and Sunday

There are plans to do a chippy and pub run Friday Evening. If anyone wishes to opt out of this, then you will need to self cater.

Insurance:

• Unit PI Cover is in place, copy available on request.

• Probationary Members and Guests. We expect you to have your own insurance cover, if not then we can cover you under the groups insurance for a nominal fee of £5 for the weekend. This is payable to Marcus or a Committee Member on the first day of the event.
