Event Parking & Access:

  • Access to site is from 07:00-20:30 Friday. 07:00 - 08:30 Saturday

  • Event access is via the SOUTH Gate which is on the B2028 (Selsfield Road)

  • The entry point will be sign posted as South Gate (Please see event map attached to the email)

  • Once you arrive, drive to the Horses Gate, and follow instructions from there.

  • Our pitch is Number 14/15

Please take note:​

  • All members are required to change into Green as soon at they are pitched up. And remain in uniform until endex has been called

  • Any deviation form the above uniform code will be questioned by the Unit Commander/NCO/Committee Member on the day. You may be asked to change.

  • Head cover to be worn at all times, either a Garrison Cap, or the M1 Helmet. (When on display a jeep cap should not be worn on it's own. After hours, the jeep cap can be worn as suits you)

  • No Bloused Jump boots

  • No Modern Tee shirts

  • No E-cigarettes insight while on display

  • No Vaping whilst on display

  • No beards. Clean shaven upon arrival, or shave when changing into Green on the first day

  • No Modern haircuts

  • No visible piercings or Tattoos

  • No modern watches

  • No modern glasses

  • Mobile phones and modern cameras can be used, but discreetly

  • All modern equipment (carrier bags, cool boxes, beer boxes, books, food packaging etc) to be hidden from sight at all times where possible

  • Rations and personal items are either wrapped in period packaging or used discreetly

  • No food/drink in modern packaging is to be consumed within the display area during public hours.

Friday

14:00 - Optional meet up at the RV Pub.

15:00 Onwards - Arrival at site and set up

17:00 - Evening meal and R&R

            

Saturday

07:30 - Reveille and Flag Detail

08:00 – Breakfast

09:00 – Event Opens to the public

09:30 - Roll call, Uniform Inspection, Briefing

17:00 – Show closes to the public. Evening meal, wash up, clean up

  • Keep your Green heads on. If given an order by an Officer or NCO, react in the appropriate manner.

  • ​​Do not leave the Camp Area without clearing it first with either the Lieutenant, or one of the senior NCOs.

​Food:

There will be a meal deal available with a cost not exceeding £8.00 per person.

 

This will include

  • A cooked Breakfast Saturday

Friday & Saturday will be a Two Can. Some Cans will be provided out of the Meal Deal Funds, but please bring at least one tin of Meat and one of Veg each for the communal pot

All Troops should have at least one of the following in their kit at all times for the communal cook pot:

Please remove modern labels and/or relabel if possible.

Alcohol: Permitted after hours. If in the Beer club, bring a pack of 15 bottles. Guests are welcome to join, just pitch in some bottles of Bud to cover!

Insurance:

  • Unit PI Cover is in place, copy available on request.

  • Probationary Members and Guests. We expect you to have your own insurance cover, if not then we can cover you under the groups insurance for a nominal fee of £5 for the weekend. This is payable to Marcus or a Committee Member on the first day of the event.

Health & Safety:

  • ​Inform Marcus or Rich Sage of any medical concerns/issues.

  • Wear suitable footwear and clothing.​

  • Dress for cold and wet conditions.

  • Stay Warm and keep hydrated.

First Aid: First Aid kit available via Rich Sage.
