Make sure that you have some form of ID with you when booking in. Security may ask you to produce this before issuing your wristband

Bovington is an active MOD Base. With recent events in the Middle East, a Heightened Level of Security is currently in place. Obey all orders given to you by Security/Museum Staff/Base personnel.

With the exception of butter knives. Absolutely NO Bladed Weaponry will be permitted at this event. Any Knives/Bayonets may be confiscated.

Any members sporting a "captured War Trophy" that represents the gestapo or the SS. Remove it from your Uniform prior to attending!

By order of the owner & Museum - Re-enactors are Strictly forbidden from taking pictures with or next to the Tiger II. It will also be Guarded by 24 Hour Security​​​​

No one is permitted to leave the display area carrying a Rifle/Weapon.

Uniform impression is "closing days of the War". Don't feel that you have to go out and purchase new uniform for this event. M41 Jacket and Wools are absolutely fine. If you do want to ditch the leggings, Buckle Boots are acceptable

Going to be a hot one. mid 20's forecast all weekend with a low of 14 in the evenings.

All members are required to change into Green as soon at they are pitched up. And remain in uniform until endex has been called

Any deviation form the above uniform code will be questioned by the Unit Commander/NCO/Committee Member on the day. You may be asked to change.

Head cover to be worn at all times, either a Garrison Cap, or the M1 Helmet. (When on display a jeep cap should not be worn on it's own. After hours, the jeep cap can be worn as suits you)

No beards. Clean shaven upon arrival, or shave when changing into Green on the first day

Yet there will be a Bar serving Alcohol on site and will be open to groups after the event closes? Please drink responsibly.​

Unit PI Cover is in place, copy available on request.

Probationary Members and Guests. We expect you to have your own insurance cover, if not then we can cover you under the groups insurance for a nominal fee of £5 for the weekend. This is payable to Marcus or a Committee Member on the first day of the event.
