Uniform:

If you are going onto the main display this year then remove your 1st Patch.

Uniform Standard: Couple days wear.

Personal appearance: 2 days max. shaving

Mandatory Duty Uniform:

  • M37 Wool Shirt & Pants

  • ​M41 Jacket

  • Rank to suit authorised grade

  • ​Infantry Garrison Cap

  • ​M1 Steel Helmet with 3/4" Mesh net or without.​

  • Rough-Outs or Service Shoes

  • M1938 Dismounted Leggings

Optional Attire​

  • MP Impression (Optional)

  • Frog Skins/Cammo

  • ​​​HBT Jacket/Trousers

  • HBT Cap

  • Tankers Jacket

  • Jeep Cap (To be worn under M1 Helmet during public hours)

Webbing and Equipment:

  • Belt to suit weapon, with canteen and Carlisle pouch

  • M1928 Haversack with meat can pouch

  • M1 Bayonet (Or M3 Knife if using a Carbine/Thompson/BAR)

  • Gas Mask Bag

  • Bandolier

  • Grenades

  • Personal Weapon (Deac Certificates/Fire Arms Licenses to be shown)

  • T-Handle or E-Tool

  • Optional D-Day Beach assault impression 

Please take note.

  • Do not deviate from the Mandatory Duty Uniform listed above

  • No Buckle Boots are to be worn

  • No Bloused Jump boots

  • No Modern Tee shirts

  • All GI's are to be clean shaven at the start of each event.

  • No E-cigarettes insight during public hours or while on display

  • No Vaping during public hours or while on display

  • No Modern haircuts

  • No visible piercings or Tattoos

  • No modern watches

  • No modern glasses

  • Mobile phones and modern cameras to be used discreetly

  • Head cover to be worn at all times, either a Garrison Cap, or the M1 Helmet. Jeep caps to be worn under the helmet or on it's own after public hours

12:00 Onwards - Arrive and set up

Saturday

07:30 - Reveille

08:00 - Breakfast

09:00 – Show opens to the public. Flag Detail. Wash up, Clean up

09:15 - Roll call on main display. Morning Briefing and Uniform Inspection 

17:30 - Show closes to the public. Flag Detail

18:00 – Evening meal, wash up, clean up. R&R

08:00 – Breakfast

09:00 – Show opens to the public. Flag Detail. Wash up, Clean up

09:15 - Roll call on main display. Morning Briefing and Uniform Inspection 

15:30 – Event Closes to the public

  • Keep your Green heads on. If given an order by an Officer or NCO, react in the appropriate manner.

  • ​​Do not wander off or leave the Camp Area without clearing it first with either the Lieutenant, or one of the senior NCOs.

  • Obey any instructions given by the Marshals

Food:

There will be an optional Meal Deal that consists of

x2 Cooked Breakfasts

This will cost £5 Per person

BBQ Saturday. Bring a disposable BBQ and enough food for yourself plus a little extra to share.

Alcohol: Permitted after hours. If in the Beer club, bring a pack of 15 bottles minimum. Guests are welcome to join, just pitch in some bottles of Bud to cover!

Insurance:

  • Unit PI Cover is in place, copy available on request.

  • Unit Guests. We expect you to have your own insurance cover, if not then we can cover you for a nominal fee of £5 for the weekend, payable to the C/O on the first day of the event.

Health & Safety:

  • ​Inform organizer (M.Spencer) of any medical issues.

  • Wear suitable and appropriate footwear and clothing.​

  • Stay cool and keep hydrated.

  • Bring Sun Cream, Insect and Tick Repellent
